Each person served at the British Commonwealth General Hospital, in Kure, Japan.
I (David Oates) was a National Serviceman and enlisted in February 1952 for a period of two years. I served at the hospital from December 1952 until December 1953 and worked as a member of the surgical team as an Operating Theatre Technician.
